Qu: Where do your products come from?
Ans: We currently source our products from South America and the UK
We import directly to Europe from South America therefore your product is stored and dispatched to you from within France
Qu: Is the hide I see on your site the hide I will receive?
Ans: Yes, we photograph each hide individually so you can see the actual hide you will be buying.
The only exception to the above is for the dyed single colour hides e.g. Dyed All Black or Dyed All Brown hides. This is because as the hides are dyed their colour is uniform. This is only the case for the photos advertising the dyed single colour hide. In this case the measurements advertised for the hide will be the exact ones relating to the hide you are buying.
(i.e. we use a stock photo of one of our hides to show you the uniform colour but measure each individual hide so you get exact measurements)
For single colour “natural” hides, i.e. not dyed, you will see the exact photo of the hide you will be buying.
Whether the hide colour is dyed or natural is shown in the listing for that hide.
Qu: What are the benefits of cowhide?
Ans: Cowhide is a versatile and an easy to care for product. It is hypo-allergenic, stain resistant, and incredibly easy to clean, requiring minimal effort to keep it in great condition.
Qu: How long will delivery take?
Ans: Once you place your order you will receive an email with your order details. Your cowhide will then be dispatched within 1-2 business days. Delivery times are shown in the Shipping section

Qu: Can I feel confident your site is secure and safe for me to shop on?
Ans: Our site is powered by Shopify. Shopify is one of the World’s largest e-commerce providers. Your shopping experience will therefore be very secure.

Qu: What payment options do you have?
Ans: Payment can be made via PayPal or by Amazon Pay

Qu: Do your products come with any guarantee? What is your returns policy?
Ans: Our refunds and exchange policy can be found on our website. We subscribe to the new EU Consumer Rights Directive therefore have a 14 day refund policy in place.
Qu: Will my order be taxed?
Ans: All prices are free of VAT/Sales tax due to article 293B of the CGI (French Tax Legislation). Furthermore orders in the EU are not subject to any import tax as the goods are already in the EU.

Qu: Do you know what you are talking about when referring to the products?
Ans: In a word, yes! We are a family run business, with the more senior members having spent over 40 years in the Leather Industry.
We do not know everything however but know people who do (!) so will always be happy to go away and find out if you have complex queries regarding our products or leather in general.
